We are a vibrant Residents Association who meet bi-monthly to discuss and act on local issues affecting the residents of West Melton and the surrounding district.
Since forming in 1992 the association has worked and at times lobbied hard on several major issues affecting the town & district such as road safety, pedestrian access and planning aspects relating to the rapid growth and development of the town. More recently, the association has developed a website for promoting public events and raising awareness of local issues.
The association is proud to support and fund several beautification projects, such as the flags on SH73 and various gardens and monuments throughout the town.
The Association is currently in good standing with a membership of 12 committee members including Chairman Tim Schurr and Treasurer Erin McElroy.
If joining this organisation is something you might consider, or perhaps you have a local issue that you want to raise, then come along to one of our meetings – you will be welcome! Meetings are held at the West Melton Community Center at 7:30pm, every second Wednesday of every second month.
